Treinamento Curso Certificação Six Sigma da 6sigmastudy VMEdu

The term ‘Six Sigma’ comes from statistics and is used in Statistical Quality Control (CQE) which assesses the performance of processes. For example, the numerical measure of the likelihood of a process reaching customer specifications. In principle, it originated from the terminology associated with manufacturing, referring to the ability of the manufacturing process to produce a very high proportion of outputs (outputs) within specifications. Thus, the sigma rate of a process, indicates its yield or the percentage of defect-free outputs produced. A sixsigma process is one in which it produces 99.99966% statistically of outputs without defects. Therefore, equivalent to 3.4 defects per million opportunities (Defects per million opportunities – DPMO) .

Six Sigma uses Quality Management and Statistical Methods, creating a team of specialists in an organization (Executive Leadership, Champions, Black belt, Green Belt, Yellow belt, etc.). Thus providing the set of specific skills needed to execute a project. Each Six Sigma project executed in an organization follows a defined sequence of phases with quantified value objectives. As a result, there is a reduction in process cycle time, cost reduction, an increase in the quality rate / customer satisfaction index and a reduction in the defect rate.

Identify areas for improvement
Define the problem statement and goals for improvement in quantifiable terms (which can be measured numerically)
Determine the resources needed for the project
Formulate deliveries on the project schedule in a phased manner
Establish performance metrics / parameters
Collect baseline information about the process
Validate the measurement system for the process output (Y)
Examine data collected at an early stage to determine a list of priorities for sources of variation
Explore the potential causes (potential X’s for causation) and determine the impact that each X has on the Y process
Determine the optimal level of the few vital X’s
Validate the measurement system for the X’s
Check process improvement
Develop the control mechanism to ensure improved process support

Six Sigma benefits:
